There is nothing we liked at this resort. The staff was very unprofessional, my friends rooms were broken into and also the rooms were dirty not to mention the bathroom. We arrive in the night around 7:30pm and we should have reached 3:00pm and our room wasnt ready, the bathroom was very dirty we had to clean it ourselves also a bad smell coming from the air conditioner. I would never recommend somewhere like this to noone.
Treatment from staff, unavailability of towels, the scent coming from air conditioner

Great Place, next to the beach. Easy to get to, easy to get other places, the hotel helps with all the travel needs. The 7 mile beach is unlike any other and is a must see.

Their location on the beach and rate per night is the only advantage they have. The rooms are terribly outdated and need much tlc. Ideal spot for college kids on a budget but unfortunately I had problems upon check in and check out that were inexcusable and a total turnoff to the property. This property would be a last option in my opinion.
I didn't like the quality of the rooms, very dingy and outdated . We had to change rooms 3 times on a three day night stay due to various different issues. We actually checked out early after our disappointment, not wanting to stay another night there.

If you really on a budget this is the place to stay to enjoy the beach. Rooms need a little upgrading.
The housekeeper did not come till 5 pm to clean the room and. When it rained the room got wet inside and the mini fridge was rusty.

Friendly staff & good beach location
1St room we were put in very dark & kind of shabby. Had no a/c remote to switch on/off or adjust so they moved us next door. Big improvement! Still very dated but clean & comfortable.

One of the nicest beaches in all of Negril. Most have kitchenettes in the room. Balconies over looking the garden and/or ocean. Very laid back and relaxing.
Don't expect 5 star hotel/resort at this price.

The Beach was great! The location of the Club is with-in walking distance to downtown Negril. We walked to the grocery store and other resturants.
The only down fall was the lack of communication on charges, not getting the room at 1st we paid for, no one was in a big rush to be of service to us. Example. If we needed towels we had to put a reservation in a day in advance. They could have just been a little more friendly and acted like they wanted to help. They also did not tell us about the $20 room key deposit nore the $3. a day safe use. They just gave us the key. If they would have just been up front with some small things. Over all it would have made the say 100 time better. I will deffinatly return the the club. Next time I will know more.

A 20 ft walk to the Beach, great restaurant right next to it!
When we first got there they didn't have power, but I guess thats normal for the area, but within a couple of hours it was back on. It didn't really bother us because we didn't say in the room much just to sleep.

Location as it was right on the beach
Oganisation within the hotel poor as I had booked a studio and it was only after complaining that the room allocated was not the studio I paid for was a refund of the difference made to my bill as they did not have the room available that I thought I had booked. Poor process for checking out as it took me 20 minutes waiting (another couple in the lobby had been waiting 45 mins just to check out). This hotel should not be processing peoples credit card details at another location then sending receipts by taxi to the hotel for you to check out, not good and not very secure. Generally hotel especially bathroom needed serious revamp and a lick of paint)

What we liked most about Negril Beach Club was deffinately the location. My boyfriend and I did the 7 mile beach walk and couldn't help but notice how much more beach space and ocean we had compared to the other resorts. The staff were very friendly and willing to help although they do run on "Jamaican" time... Which is laid back and no need to rush. We had a problem with overbooking and were sent to the sister hotel for one night (which was a disgrace ) but they were very nice to upgrade us to a one bedroom appartment which was very roomy and comfortable. All and all we will for sure be going back there. Thank you Negril Beach Club for making it possible for people to take a cheap vacation to Jamaica without having to do an all inclusive!!
The only things we did not like was the fact that we had to move back and forth due to the overbooking. They need to make sure that everyone selling these rooms are aware of the availability. The service at the restaurant wasn't the greatest due to the fact that they looked under staffed because the food took wayyyy too long to come out. Many people were not happy with this. (Who would be when they're hungry right!).

The only thing we liked about this resort is the location and the beach. The place is a dump.
I did not appreciate the fact that they kept telling people that they did not see a booking for them. They told us the same thing and other people checking in had the same problem. They said that they did not see a hotel reservation and that they did not have any rooms available. They did invite us to stay at the sister resort that's about 3 minutes away but that place is a dump. I will never stay there again and would not recommend this resort to anyone. The pillows were hard as rock!!!!!.

The beach man and the cleaners were effecient and friendly. The beach was fabulous.
The managers were unresponsive or absent. The restaurant staff were slow, careless and disorganized.

Location! It is right on the beach which is a very, very large patch of beach! I thought our one bedroom had a nice design to it which was refreshing in a budget hotel. It had nice hardwood floors, a platform bed, two sofas, and an all tile bathroom. That being said, not all the rooms look like ours. The garden is gorgeous and probably the best maintained feature of this hotel.
The property is aging and not well maintained. Many common areas such as the pool, jacuzzi, and bar are in need of repair or just a coat of paint. I didn't care for the restaurant being separate from the hotel. We couldn't charge anything to our room .even though the bar is on the property. They charged for a cup of ice at the bar! 50 ja for a cup of ice!! There is much more to not like, but I'll leave my complaints elsewhere.
